This is an interim release. It updates rates that were published prior to June 30, 2020. It does not take the place of the third quarter release (20.3.0.0). It reflects the following rate changes effective July 1, 2020:
- Alabama changed from 5.00% to 3.00% for both underpayments and overpayments.
- Arizona changed from 5.00% to 3.00% for both underpayments and overpayments.
- Federal changed from 5.00% to 3.00% for underpayments and 4.00% to 2.00% for overpayments.
- Illinois changed from 5.00% to 3.00% for both underpayments and overpayments.
- Massachusetts changed from 6.00% to 4.00% for underpayments and 4.00% to 2.00% for overpayments.
- Michigan changed from 6.40% to 5.63% for both underpayments and overpayments.
- Missouri is unchanged at 5.00% for underpayments and changed from 2.00% to 1.90% for overpayments.
- New Mexico changed from 5.00% to 3.00% for both underpayments and overpayments.
- New York City changed from 9.00% to 7.50% for underpayments and 4.00% to 2.00% for overpayments.
- New York State changed from 9.00% to 7.50% for underpayments and 4.00% to 2.00% for overpayments.
- South Carolina changed from 5.00% to 3.00% for underpayments and 2.00% to 0.00% for overpayments.
- Tennessee changed from 9.50% to 7.25% for both underpayments and overpayments.
- Virginia changed from 7.00% to 5.00% for both underpayments and overpayments.
This release also includes:
- A future rate change for Kansas from 6.00% to 4.00% effective January 1, 2021.
- A previously unpublished retroactive change for New Jersey from 7.75% to 6.25% for underpayments and 4.75% to 3.25% for overpayments effective April 1, 2020.
